(2018 c3) Winter Blues with Kind Thoughts

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I love using a white cardstock as a scratch paper when I am inking frames and die cut panels.  It gives random and sometimes NEAT patterns that I can use on a later project. For today’s background I used one of these that had been sponged with Tim Holtz Salty Ocean Distress Ink by Ranger  using frames from Postage Stamp Edge Frames by Simon Says Stamp    Here is the post where I sponged frames for shaker ornaments)

I stamped all the snowflakes from these 3 Hamilton Arts stamp & die sets: SC0714 Penguin stamp & die set by Hampton Arts ,  SC0713 Snowflake stamp & die set by Hampton Arts , & SC0738 Snowman stamp & die set by Hampton Arts (I could only find this set on ebay even though I found it at one of my local craft stores)  First I stamped all the snowflakes at one time with my MISTI with Versamark & heat embossed with  Sparkly/Glittery WOW Embossing Powder.  Then I stamped 2 more times with Color Box White Frost pigment ink.

The cup of cocoa is a FREE Digi at Stamplorations  and was printed in black on vellum and immediately heat embossed with Clear EP. (The ink jet ink will remain wet on the vellum long enough for the embossing powder to stick)  The sentiment from Hero Arts CL911 Acts of Kindness stamp set was stamped with Versamark Watermark Ink by Tsukineko and then heat embossed with WOW Embossing Powder.
