(2019 c6) A Wintery HELLO
Background was made by smooshing Distress Inks by Ranger each color individually onto my Couture Creations Non Stick Craft Matt CO723828 then spritzed it with water and then mopping up onto watercolor paper. (Blueprint Sketch, Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet, Shaded Violet, Worn Lipstick).
I used my new HERO ARTS DE532 Snowflake Edge Fancy Die to create a stencil for the silvery snow in the sky. I sprayed the backs with a temporary adhesive so I could hold those tiny snowflake spikes down while applying Platinum NUVO Mousse to the sky as you can see to the right. For the rolling hills I cut wavy lines using PLAID FOLK ART 30464 Blank Peel & Stick Stencil (I think the Blanks have been discontinued in the Peel & Stick) Then using a plastic putty knife I loosely spread Platinum NUVO Mousse to create the hills.
As you can see in the photo I also added textured Mousse at the base of the trees. I stamped the houses, snowman and trees with HERO ARTS CM282 Home For The Holidays and cut out with HERO ARTS DI556 Home For The Holidays Frame Cuts I colored the houses with Prismacolor Premium Colored Pencils . For the trees I spread the Mousse on cardstock before stamping with Evergreen Bough Distress Inks by Ranger and heat embossed with Clear Ranger Embossing Powder. For the edges of the white card base I swiped Mermaid Lagoon & Shaded Violet Distress Inks by Ranger . The sentiment is from HERO ARTS Polar Greetings.
