(2023 c009) Inside / Out Birthday Sentiment with Stenciled Background

Inside sentiment can be seen on outside of the card.
Inside Sentiment positioned so it can be seen from the outside of card through diecut aperture.
INSIDE / OUT Sentiment can be seen through diecut aperture on front of card.

Supplies used: Altenew Flowing Drops Stencil Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson – Happy Birthday Ken Oliver ColorSparks Watercolor Powder (used to be called Ken Oliver Color Burst) Versamark Ink Pad Clear Ranger Embossing Powder Watercolor Paper Distress Inks by Ranger

First I sprinkled the Ken Oliver ColorSparks Watercolor powder sparingly on the watercolor paper and spritzed with water, let dry completely. Then applied Versamark Ink through the Altenew Flowing Drops Stencil and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I applied Peacock Distress Ink all over the paper and the embossed drops resisted the ink so that the ColorSparks could shine through.

Then I cut out the shadow for the Birthday sentiment at the top of the panel and applied a gold die cut of the sentiment and applied on the inside of card so that it could be seen through the aperture on the front of the card.

Challenges Entered:

Die Cut Divas: Watercoloring

Simon Says Stamp: (Monday) Stencil It

Word Art Wednesday: #589 – 590 Anything Goes
