(2017 c27) Designs by Ryn, Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn, Oxide Distress

The focal hummingbird from Designs by Ryn called Flying Hummingbird 1 & it was heat embossed in gold.  I colored with  Niji Pearlescent Watercolors (I love the shimmer which gives just a hint of the real birds iridescent beauty). It was popped up with foam squares.

The background image Textured Impressions 657772 by Sizzix/Hero Arts was stamped & heat embossed with clear on Cannon Mixed Media Paper (as it turned out this was a little too light weight for the Oxide Distress Ink spritzing technique, so I had to iron it lightly in the end, which took away a little of the shiny embossing) I applied Broken China Distress Oxide Inks by Ranger with the smooshing technique of using a clear acetate piece to apply ink to & then spritzing with water & smooshing to the paper. The white flowers with pearl centers were from my stash of embellishments as well as the butterfly cut out of designer paper.  The sentiment was cut with Happy Birthday Boarder by Lawn Fawn.
