(2017 c26) Neat N Tangled, Vellum Window

Today I made a Stamped, Heat Embossed & Water Colored Vellum “Window” card.

As you can see in pictures on the right I made the inside by brushing the Distress Oxide Inks by Ranger  with a Guilding Brush by Martha Stewart. to create an ombre rainbow effect.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERANext I sponged Peeled Paint with ColorBox Art Screen Tropical  and then sprinkled water over the panel to activate the Oxide inks.  The vellum panel was stamped with a set from Neat N Tangled called Fractal Cloud Stamp Set.  I heat embossed and painted with Niji Pearlescent Watercolors.  as you can see the panel in picture on the left, I scored on the left side making a hinge to attach the black front Window panel which was folded in half and the windows were cut out with a 3 inch square Punch By Marvy Uchida

I was able to achieve the rectangle shapes by punching from the folded side first & rotating and lining up with first punched square & punching again on the opposite side creating a larger rectangle hole.

I used very strong Score-Tape adhesive tape to adhere the vellum panel inside the fold and to adhere the folded top portion. The last pictures shows a closeup showing how you can see the ferns through the window. The sentiments were stamped with Fractal Cloud Stamp Set.  The inside Prayers sentiment was stamped with Prayers by Simon Says Stamp & Hero Arts.
