(2020 c062) Mixed Media Flamingo

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I am having a blast learning to play with mixed media and so many other techniques over at Jennifer Chamberlain’s Facebook page called The Maker Beehive.  She had a video tutorial showing how to collagethe whole scene  with printed papers.  I added the waves with Signo Uni Ball White pen  & Regular black Ball Point Pen and outlined the bird with the black pen and drew the sand dollars also.  The plants were highlighted with a charcoal pencil.(2020 c062) Mixed Media Flamingo 2

Lagene, I have always wanted to try this torn paper technique, and you have really seemed to master it with this gorgeous flamingo on the shoreline. Great use of your ballpoint pen to make this pretty pink bird stand out and to add other accents on your stunning make! Thank you for playing along in the Positively Pensive challenge at The Funkie Junkie Boutique blog.

  4. He’s charming – lovely work with the paper tearing. I wish I could dive into those ocean waves right now.
