(2019 c123) Onion? Poinsettia?

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Today’s tag features a POINSETTIA (or are those ONIONS???)OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

See the photo on the right, I created the red colored petals by stamping the ONION from Thankful by Ellen Hutson .  The outer green leaves are from the leaf at the bottom of the set with the arrows pointing to it.

The side boarders were cut with a very old die set: Spellbinder’s Holly Accents .  The gold sparkly words are from 2 different sets:  PEACE & is from Tim Holtz Alterations Die set called Holiday Words Script by Sizzix and JOY is from Lawn Fawn Scripty JOY.  Teh song that comes to mind is JOY JOY JOY.

What a clever and creative card! Thank you for joining us at Die Cut Divas!

  3. Another gorgeous Christmas tag, Lagene! I love the embossed images that make up that stunning poinsettia. I have to disagree with the onion theory; I think it’s a leaf, but it makes for a great poinsettia bract! Wishing YOU peace and joy this Christmas advent season! And thanks once more for joining us at The Funkie Junkie Boutique Blog! Hugs!

    • I still think the small stamp colored with red is an onion ha ha, the set has vegetables 🙂
