(2018 c149) Penny Black Cardinal

Using the Misti Stamping Tool , I stamped Penny Black Berry Merry Christmas by brushing Tim Holtz Distress Markers on the stamps and then lightly misting the stamp and then stamping.  When dry I stamped again with Versamark Ink   and heat embossed with Clear Ranger Embossing Powder .  I used the same method for the cardinal on the top from  A Festive Season by Penny Black.  I loosely …

The background sky was painted with Crayola washable Water Colors.   The ground was painted with Distress Inks by Ranger.  The deer were stamped with Nature’s Friends by Penny Black using  Jet Black Stazon Ink .  The bushes were stamped with  Distress Inks by Ranger  using  40-420 Pastoral by Penny Black and Nature’s Friends by Penny Black. The Happy Holly by Penny Black was stamped with  Versamark Ink  and then heat embossed with Gold  Ranger Embossing Powder .   Originally I scored the upper left and lower right corners, but they didn’t show up very well, so I added gold pen to the score lines.  The holly was painted with  Artist’s Loft Pearlescent watercolors found at Michaels .   The sentiment is from  A Festive Season by …

For the first layer of stamping I used Pastoral 40-420 by Penny Black and tapped Forest Moss, Peeled Paint and Bundled Sage  Distress Inks by Ranger and stamped using my Misti .  The next layer I stamped using  Nature’s Friends by Penny Black.  I stamped the tall wispy vegetation with the bird with Forest Moss Distress Inks by Ranger and heat embossed with clear Ranger Embossing Powder .   From the same stampset I finally stamped the …

(2017 c81) Winter Wonderland, Impression Obsession, Penny Black, Sizzix

  I had fun coloring the background with cheap watercolors by Crayola. The small trees were cut from green cardstock  with Impression Obsession dies called Fir Trees DIE084-V.  For the largest tree I used Sizzix dies called Woodlands 660978.  I lightly brushed white paint over the branches.  The deer were stamped with Nature’s Friends by Penny …
