Then I Stamped GinaK Designs A Year of Boarders with Versamark Ink  and heat embossed with Gold  Ranger Embossing Powder .  I did the same with just Candied Apple and cut it in varying width strips and stamped Happy Birthday from a retired set from GinaK Designs called Inside and Out.

(2018 c118) Lawn Fawn, Distress Inks, Vellum

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This background is what was left over from the previous card #117.   I colored watercolor paper by SMOOSHING Distress Inks by Ranger that had been applied to acetate and then spritzed with water.  The leaves were cut out with Lawn Fawn:  Stitched Leaves and used on the previous card.  I cut a piece of vellum and impressed the smaller leaf dies from Lawn Fawn: Small Stitched Leaves as well as the smallest dies from Lawn Fawn:  Stitched Leaves so that the leaves would be smaller than the window spaces.  I colored the back side of the impressed vellum with a yellow Copics(Amazing how it looks gold through the vellum) The sentiment was cut with  Scripty THANKS by Lawn Fawn.

(2018 c115) Shiny Poppies

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The Poppies were stamped with CG140 Poppy Background from Hero Arts.  The black didn’t stamp too well, so I used a discontinued dry pigments product called Lumin Arte which I mixed with water and a little Gum Arabic ,  this gave a silvery glow on top of the black as you can see on the two views below, when tilted the silver shines and if held at the right angle, it looks blacker as seen in the top photo.

The poppies were painted with Lumin Arte also.  The sentiment Blessings was cut with Blessings stamp & Cut set by Hero Arts.  I added 3 black crystals to the bottom of card.

(2018 c113) Alcohol Ink & Heat Embossing

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAFor Today’s cards I used Ranger Alcohol Inks to create the background for both cards.  I stamped  Mondo Hydrangea from Essentials by Ellen Hutson  with Versamark Ink using my Misti Stamping Tool  & Heat embossed with Silver on one card to match the Silver THANKS and used Gold on the other to match the Thanks on the Notecard. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA  I also stamped the flower on the card  and heat embossed and colored with watercolors.  I used the metal side of Tim Holtz Acrylic Design Ruler 12″ to cut the windows and just the exacto knife to cut around the stamped images within the rectangles For the inside sentiment I stamped with Thankful by Ellen Hutson as you can see below.

For both cards I used Thank You Note Cards and Envelopes From Michaels with the Gold  & Silver Lettering. I purchased several sets when they were on closeout several years ago & am finally using them)  And with all thee sets on hand you can bet I will make more and try other techniques.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

(2018 c112) Thanks, Alcohol Ink Lift

I had fun today with Lemonade, Terra Cotta, Sandal Ranger Alcohol Inks .  I followed Jennifer McGuire’s ALCOHOL LIFT INK TECHNIQUES (you can click to see her video).  I finally got my Tim Holtz Alcohol Lift-Ink Pad Ranger TAC63810 and its much easier to use than using the reinker and felt pads to apply to stamps. Below you can see the 2nd card I made with the same Yuppo panel I created  by lifting the stamps from Thankful by Ellen Hutson using my Misti Stamping Tool .   I also stamped the flower on 1st card and leaves on 2nd card and heat embossed and colored with watercolors.

As you can see above, for this one I stamped off the lifted images to a piece of cardstock and then stamped the sentiment with Gold  Ranger Embossing Powder .  I used the metal side of Tim Holtz Acrylic Design Ruler 12″ to cut the windows and just the exacto knife to cut around the stamped images within the rectangles.

For both cards I used Thank You Note Cards and Envelopes From Michaels with the Gold Lettering. I purchased several sets when they were on closeout several years ago & am finally using them)  And with all thee sets on hand you can bet I will make more and try other techniques.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
