This is one of my favorite creations using Altenew products in the last 5 years. Stamps used:  I used my Misti Stamping Tool   and Distress Inks by Ranger to stamp Build A Flower: Rose by Altenew Stamps and dies;   Painted  Greetings stamp set by AltENew stamped with Versamark Ink   and heat embossed with Gold Ranger Embossing Powder.   The background was created by first sprinkling Orange Ken Oliver Color Burst (Watercolor Pigment Powder)  onto my craft mat and then spritzed with water, then  “MOPPING UP” with a piece of water color paper.  It was originally posted on January 30,2019 and you can click the link to see it.

(2019 c31) Cat & Fish Food

(2019 c31) LF Cat & Fish Food

This was FUN! I stamped the “Cat who is FISHING for his FOOD” and  the sentiment and pawprints  with Lawn Fawn Meow You Doing.  The “fish bowl & fish food” was stamped with Lawn Fawn Fintastic Friends.

The table and wall paper were created by sponging Distress Inks by Ranger .  The wallpaper was first sponged with Scattered Straw and then applied Carved Pumpkin through a Geometric self-adhesive stencil by Firefly which I purchased at TUESDAY MORNING (unfortunately I can not find that company on the internet, so I suppose it must be discontinued)  I colored the images with CopicsI die cut the cat with matching dies and then trimmed the white edge from the front feet so I could tuck them behind the slits I cut around the fish bowl rim so he could go fishing for his dinner in the bowl.  The sentiment was cut with Die-Namics Fish Tail dies by My Favorite Things (these are discontinued, but they have other fishtail die sets available)

(2019 c30) GKD Spiraling Butterflies & Ombre Background

The background was created in an OMBRE technique of blending with Inks top to bottom:    Distress Oxide Inks by Ranger : Blueprint Sketch, Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves, Festive Berries, Dusty Concord. Then I flicked water & blotted to achieve the splotches.  Today I used the sentiment  Many Blessings from Friendship’s Garden by Asela Hopkins

To create the spiraling Butterflies I had FUN using my NEW Wreath Builder Templates 3 3/4″ & 4″ by Gina K Designs. I stamped the butterflies with a retired stamp set by Theresa Momber called HOPE GROWS from Gina K Designs  They have oodles of other lovely sets to choose from, go and check them out.  I stamped on a 3 3/4″ square of white cardstock with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink  (which works well with alcohol inks as well asOmbre Background watercolors) then colored the butterflies with Copics.  I then applied  Versamark Ink to the butterflies and heat embossed with Clear  Ranger Embossing Powder .  Then I sponged Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks by Ranger on the background and cut out with Standard Circles Large by Spellbinders. I finally Inked the  entire circle with Versamark Ink  and heat embossed with Clear  Ranger Embossing Powder then popped up on a foam circle.

(2019 c29) Journal

(2019 c29) Painted Journal Cover.jpg

For this Journal cover I stamped onto watercolor paper with a very old wood mounted stamp, which has been discontinued, but they have a large collection of beautiful floral stamps to choose from Northridge Rubber Stamps, stamp P488.  The larger Iris wood mounted stamp is still available:  Northridge Rubber Stamps, P598 Iris.

I painted the scene with a combination of watercolors and acrylic paints, then glued to the cover of a Composition Notebook from Walmart.

(2019 c27) Guest Designer at The Paper Girls Challenge Blog

I am so excited to be the Guest Designer for today’s new challenge at The Paper Girls Challenge blog Challenge #171 Pinspired .  Your challenge is to  create a project inspired by the imagine below that one of their designers found on Pinterest.PaperGirls Ch 171 3-4 guest designer.jpg

Below is the card I created.  I was inspired by the rainbow of colors and the geometric designs and triangles .OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

As you can see in the photo below,  First I created the background for the butterfly cutouts by painting  Ranger Alcohol Inks  on  PHOTO PAPER in the rough shape of the Tim Holtz Sizzix Mini Detailed Butterflies Thinlits Die 661802 .  I then used my new Tim Holtz Sizzix Dimensional Cutting Pad 656498 to partially cut out the butterflies.  I placed the beveled line down the center of the butterflies so that the body did not cut, that way the wings could be raised to reveal more of the color behind the cutouts.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I swiped Versamark Ink around the edges of the black triangles and heat embossed with Gold Ranger Embossing Powder.    The sentiment was cut with Lawn Fawn Happy Birthday Boarder Die

Now it’s your turn to create something inspired by the Pinterest imageat challenge at The Paper Girls Challenge blog Challenge #171 Pinspired.  You have until March 16 to enter.

(2019 C25) Turnabout Stamping, Thanks.jpg

I’m so excited, I just received my new Concord & 9th Everyday Bouquet Turnabout Tool Kit 10539.  This is so fun with easy to follow instructions!  I made this card in less than 10 minutes!!!  I can’t believe it!

Using my Misti Stamping Tool , I stamped with a different color each time I  rotated the template.    I used Barn Door, Weathered Wood, Fired Brick & Rusty Hinge  Distress Inks by Ranger . The vellum and THANKS were cut with the dies included in this kit.  I actually cut THANKS in the vellum also so that I could perfectly place the silver letters.
