(2022 c016) Foiled Sunrise Shaker
I followed Jennifer McGuire’s technique video for Magic Shaker Cards as seen on her Blog in the link.
I inked the background with Distress Oxide Inks by Ranger. For the clouds I used My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil For the palm trees I found this old stampset from Papertrey Ink called On The Wagon which appears to be discontinued. The first one was stamped directly on the background using Mini Ranger Archival Ink . The second was stamped and cut out with the co-ordinating dies and glued onto the foiled transparency after adding irridescent clear sequins inside.
I taped 2 Hero Arts DI198 Nesting Rectangle Infinity Dies together for cutting the shaker frames. I built up the shaker well by stacking 4 frames and used one more on top of the transparency to seal the shaker.
For the shaker cover I used 3M Transparency Film (which is heat resistant). I foiled the sun rays using Spellbinders Glimmer Burst – Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the month GOM-APR22 using gold foil.
