(2021 c040) Birthday – Sweet or Catty?

The front is the SWEET side of this card

Sweet side

I cut the die: 2327 Adriana Oval Frame Craft Die out of both dark & light green. Green Vellum was used for the shadow for cuttting out Pink & Main Happy Birthday PNM200. The inside turns CATTY!!

The inside however is very CATTY!!!!! I stamped the sentiments and cat with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Snarky Cat CMS392  . The cat was colored with Copics.

I followed Jennifer McGuire’s Technique Video: Easy Surprise Window showing how to make the Pop out on the inside of a card.  If the inside looks a little odd it’s because I totally misjudged the size for my original White card base and had to cut a larger green card face and extended another green card piece on the back from the fold of the white base to match the front.  I was so bummed when the cat head and leaves extended beyond the white cardbase when it was folded shut. But thank goodness I found a FIX!

Inside Easy Surprise Window

The background inside the Pop-Out Window was created by smooshing  Distress Inks by Ranger and sptitzing with water then smooshing mixed media paper onto the wet ink to create the colorful mottled background.
