(2020 c104) Gate Fold Ornament
I followed Jennifer McGuire’s Surprise Gatefold Cards video. I created this Gate Fold card using: for the gate doors by dry embossing with Crafters Companion EF6-CHEL Christmas Elegance embossing folder which is hard to find, the ornaments were cut with the discontinued Spellbinders 2012 Heirloom Ornaments dies. The snowflakes are from Arctic Snowflake Punch by Martha Stewart and from another which is now hard to find called Spellbinders 2012 Snowflake Pendant,
In the photo above the second ornament is stamped with an old stamp that I no longer know who the maker was, sorry. I sponged the inside of the die with Distress Inks by Ranger. In the completely open card below you can see that it will stand on its own and I can write my message on the back side. The sentiment was cut with Merry Christmas PNM057 from Pink & Main – it is no longer available & I hope they bring it back, but they have another called Bold Christmas Die from Pink & Main.
In My Creative Opinion: 25 Days of Christmas Tags (my card drew inspiration from Day 11 when Dylan Nicar, Joyce Mehrberg, Kim Heggins, Lindsey Larsen, Carol & Lindsey M-P all used a very old fashioned ornament shape called Ornament Basics. Mine is a different very old fashioned shape.)
