(2020 c091) Die Cut Letterpress & Gel Plate Leaves

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I had fun following Jennifer McGuire’s Die Cut Letterpress Technique video to create the background using Kat Scrappiness Star Fusion  and inking up with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks by Ranger . For the center I cut a dark green piece of vellum with Lawn Fawn Large Cross-Stitched Square Stackables. I carefully glued the THANKS by Lawn Fawn that was cut from a Gel Print. I used the Gel Press 5×7 from Hobby Lobby See the photo below to see how the Letterpress shows through the dark vellum.

The leaves were cut from another Gel Print using Lawn Fawn:  Stitched Leaves. For the sentiment on the inside of card, on the photo below you can see that I used the remaining paper that the THANKS on the front was cut from.
