(2020 c049) Bookmarks, Never Before Inked Stamps

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I used a stamp set that was a limited editiion collaboration between Simon Says Stamp & Hero Arts called Stamptember 2019 Real Flowers Vintage SSS102043.  I don’t know how I managed to not use it until now!!!  See in photo below:

I made 2 bookmarks and in the photo above the one on the left is the front side of the metalic paper and it has a soft sparkle.  The one on the right is the back side of the second bookmark.  It was just the bleed-through of the alcohol inks and was a dull look, so I added a left over strip of a heat laminated sheets that had glitter in between.  The photo below are the same 2 bookmarks, each just flipped over to show the other side.  And I laminated them to give strength & durability.

Below is a close-up of the front of one and the back of the other.

For the alcohol on shiny paper technique, I didn’t have any of Tim Holtz Silver Sparkle Alcohol Ink Cardstock or glitter paper like Jennifer McGuire used., but I had a silver brushed metalic paper and experimented for this background. See her YouTube Video on Sparkly Alcohol Inks by Jennifer McGuire.  She shared using many different papers.  This was following the technique video from  Jennifer McGuire’s tutorial called Embellished Windows Technique (using a heat laminator)These little strips were left over from the card I made HERE.
