Supplies  used:  Distress Oxide Inks by Ranger Versamark Ink  and heat embossed with Blue & Gold Ranger Embossing Powder, Prayers by Simon Says Stamp & Hero ArtsHero Florals Magnolias CM261Love Stamp & Cut by Hero ArtsHero Arts CG770 Deco Flourish Bold PrintsColor Burst by Ken Oliver, Distress Stain Daubers by Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks by RangerKrylon Workable Fixative Spray.   In photo below you can see that I used a leftover piece of watercolor paper that had been colored with Color Burst Powders and stamped my magnolia  & heat embossed with Gold EP.  Next I sprayed with Workable Fixative so that the color burst background wouldn’t disappear with added layers of color. Then I used Distress Stains to color the inside edges of the petals with the Seedless Preserves using a paintbrush. I used a mixture of the greens & blue to paint the leaves. Looking back at the finished flower on the tag, you can see that I added more watered down stain to the rest of the petals to give a more cohesive look, but you can still see the Color Burst background showing through.  I drew around the outside of the magnolia die and fussy cut a frame from royal blue cardstock.
