(2020 c023) Paper Pieced Flower Heart

I followed Jennifer McGuire’s Stamped Pattern Paper Piecing video. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA I stamped the flower  from Paper Smooches Pretty Momma on many different patterned papers with Versamark Ink  and Black Ranger Embossing Powder,  Then I fussy cut different sections from different papers and pieced them together and arranged to create a flower HEART.  The background was colored with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks by RangerThen I sponged Hero Arts Pigment Unicorn White Ink through Leaf Burst Stencil by Altenew and then heat embosses with clear EP.  See the close up photo on the right.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches Chit Chat.

It reminds me of stained glass.

  2. I love the blended variations in colour tone you’ve created on the flowers themselves, and the subtle shimmery leaf texture in the background is so pretty!

I just finished watching Jennifer’s video and was thinking how much fun that technique would be. You have done it perfectly here. Very clever to make a heart from the roses too. Another beautiful card, I love your style. Thanks for playing along with us once again over at The Mod Squad.

Beautiful and your background is so dimensional! Love it!
