(2019 c113) Paper Smooches Retro Kittys

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

My sister has a GREAT 2 foot tall cat statue  with a LOOOONG neck that she has had since the 70’s.  So this card is dedicated to her RETRO CAT!  So let’s get into the GROOVE!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAFirst I stamped the cats from Paper Smooches Feline Friends, and Paper Smooches Nine Lives with black ink and then with Versamark Ink   and heat embossed with clear  Ranger Embossing Powder .  Then I sponged  Distress Inks by Ranger around the card.  Next I stamped Paper Smooches Artisan Blocks with Versamark Ink heat embossed with clear EP.  Then I spattered water water over it and blotted with a dry towel. I sponged a darker ink around the edges and mounted on midnight blue cardstock.

THANKS is from Paper Smooches Chit Chat  (This one is discontinued at Paper Smooches, but I linked to Scrapbook.com where you can still get it)  It was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Black EP.  On the inside as you can see on the right stamps came from Chit Chat and MADE FROM SCRATCH is from Nine Lives.

Cool cats and a great card.

  2. I love this card, Lagene! The cats look fabulous against that stunning inky background! I carved a long necked cat in the 70’s and entered it into a contest and won my first blue ribbon ever! I know that cat is still around here somewhere! Hugs!

    • Thanks for your comment, Hope you find your retro kitty!
