(2019 c90) Lawn Fawn, Brutus Monroe Scene
Products used: Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Boarders , Lawn Fawn Mom and Me stamps and dies, Lawn Fawn Happy Birthday Boarder Die , Lawn Fawn: Stitched Leaves , Brutus Monroe Color Burst Powder, Card Hanger Die by Laurie at Soapbox Creations, Versamark Ink , Misti , Ranger Embossing Powder , Distress Inks by Ranger .
I colored the sky with Cornflower Brutus Monroe Color Burst then cut with the Stitched Hillside die. Next colored the hillside with a mixture of Zest & Jackolantern Brutus Monroe Color Burst. Then I used Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Mustard Seed, & Rusty Hinge Distress Inks by Ranger to create the background for the bottom panel. On top of that I use a left over piece I had created to cut leaves from for These placecards. (See, it does make since to save all those leftovers!) Here’s how I did it: The colored leaves started out by coloring white cardstock with stains by Tim Holtz/Ranger (Citron, Festive Berries, Peeled Paint, Seedless Preserves) After dry I sprayed a light coat of Coffee Shop spray mist by Tattered Angels.
Then I cut out fall leaves with Small Stitched Leaves die by Lawn Fawn. I created the base of the tree by partial stamping by shifting the paper with my Misti leaving out the heart. Then I used Copics to draw the rest of the tree and branches, I cut out leaves in different colors of Vellum and some watercolored paper leaves. I added gold sequins whose shape reminds me of leaves.
The gift card/cash insert on the inside was created with Card Hanger Die by Laurie at Soapbox Creations.
