(2019 c65) Tim Holtz Wildflowers, Paper Towel Background

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAEEKKK I’m so excited, a challenge to use my Paper Towels that I’ve saved after “Mopping UP”  my craft messes of inks and dyes! OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe first photo below is a stack of 6 big sections of paper towels that have dried long ago. o.  The second photo is the one I actually used for this card. I used the lower central portion.

For the  flowers I cut them out with watercolor paper and then added White Pearl FOLK ART Metalic Acrylic Paint to the stems because I was not pleased with the off-white color of the watercolor paper.  To achieve a TANGERINE color, I colored the flowers with a mixture of Carved Pumpkin and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks by Ranger  .   The frame was cut with Die-namics Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX by MFT .   The sentiment was cut from  DCWV Foiled 6X6 Stack paper with Tim Holtz Alterations Die set called Celebrate by Sizzix.   The bees were stamped with Hero Arts – Daisy and Bugs Stamp and Cut DC219  with Versamark Ink   and heat embossed with Black Ranger Embossing Powder
