(2019 c27) Guest Designer at The Paper Girls Challenge Blog

I am so excited to be the Guest Designer for today’s new challenge at The Paper Girls Challenge blog Challenge #171 Pinspired .  Your challenge is to  create a project inspired by the imagine below that one of their designers found on Pinterest.PaperGirls Ch 171 3-4 guest designer.jpg

Below is the card I created.  I was inspired by the rainbow of colors and the geometric designs and triangles .OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

As you can see in the photo below,  First I created the background for the butterfly cutouts by painting  Ranger Alcohol Inks  on  PHOTO PAPER in the rough shape of the Tim Holtz Sizzix Mini Detailed Butterflies Thinlits Die 661802 .  I then used my new Tim Holtz Sizzix Dimensional Cutting Pad 656498 to partially cut out the butterflies.  I placed the beveled line down the center of the butterflies so that the body did not cut, that way the wings could be raised to reveal more of the color behind the cutouts.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I swiped Versamark Ink around the edges of the black triangles and heat embossed with Gold Ranger Embossing Powder.    The sentiment was cut with Lawn Fawn Happy Birthday Boarder Die

Now it’s your turn to create something inspired by the Pinterest imageat challenge at The Paper Girls Challenge blog Challenge #171 Pinspired.  You have until March 16 to enter.
