(2019 c3) Flamingo Skates in for a Smooch

This is my first project using my new Flamingo Holiday Set 20197 from FLORA & FAUNA.

I used one of my favorite techniques for this background.  This is just a little different technique from yesterday’s post.  The background was made by sprinkling Aquamarine Ken Oliver Color Burst (Watercolor Pigment Powder)  onto my Couture Creations Non Stick Craft Matt CO723828  then spritzed it with water.   Next I  MOPPED UP  the color on the Mat with Kodak Photo Paper.   To create the ice pond I colored it with Copics.  The Flamingos were stamped with Hero Arts Dye Ink Pad India Ink Black AF248 and colored with CopicsThen I fussy cut them out.  For the Penny Slider I cut the slot with Lawn Fawn Slide on Over Lawn Cuts Dies LF1202To give support to the sliding skating flamingo I cut a heart out of a repurposed piece of plastic packaging.  I colored the back with Ranger Alcohol Inks  diluted with 90% Alcohol.

  1. This is so cute! I love the way the flamingo is closing on the flamingo girl. What a clever idea! Thank you for recycle with Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
