(2018 c21) Encouragement Ellen Hutson, Hero Arts
Lots more fun playing with my homemade hearts background stencil that was cut into watercolor paper. Used Spellbinders Media MiXage One Heartand Hero Arts Valentine and three Hearts fancy dies . You can see the beginning process on the previous post HERE.
then I stamped the sentiment from Mondo Hydrangea from Essentials by Ellen Hutson with Versamark Ink and & heat embossed with WOW Embossing Powder . The HELLO die from Ellen Hutson was first impressed into my background, and the background was painted with Artist Loft Pearlescent watercolors found at Michaels . I love how the embossed sentiment resists the paint. I cut it out HELLO from a piece that was colored with Ken Oliver Color Burst (Watercolor Pigment Powder) and glued it on top, off-set so that the impressed word would show.As you can see in the picture above, I brushed Platinum Nuvo Mousse on the raised hearts. With all the sparkle on the background I felt the Hello needed some too, so I topped it with Zig Wink Of Stella as you can see on the pictures below.
Gratitude and Encouragement are my words for 2018. I am grateful for friends and family and love making cards that encourage.
