(2017 c34) Frantic Stamper, Tim Holtz & Taylored Expressions Christmas

Christmas in July

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Peaceful Poinsettia by Taylored Expressions was stamped and heat embossed for the background. Then Distress Oxide Inks by Ranger was sponged over the flowers and sprtized with water to make the inks react.  The Poinsettia Bubble Ornment from Frantic Stamper as well as Believe from Tim Holtz Alterations Die set called Holiday Words Script by Sizzix was cut out of the background and another gold ornament was cut from DCWV 6×6:  The Foiled Cardstock MS-019-00003.  I not only used the mirror foil, but I placed a piece of repurposed plastic packaging behind the cut out so that the intricate Die could be “set In” easily, that added to the glassy look.

Very pretty! The ornament is stunning. I love how you created the look of glass in it. I’m still trying to figure out how you did it!! Thanks so much for sharing your card with everyone over at Casual Fridays Christmas in July Challenge.

    • Marcia, thanks, I will add this info to the post, I not only used the mirror foil, but I placed a piece of repurposed plastic packaging behind the cut out so that the intricate Die “set In” easily, that added to the glassy look.

  6. This is gorgeous! Thanks for blessing us with your creation at Word Art Wednesday. Please join us again in our current challenge. Leaving you with the inspiration of God’s Word in Philippians 1:6 which says, “For I am confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” Have a blessed day!
