I started with watercolor paper & I used Powdered Pigments called Brusho Crystal Colors: Ultramarine Blue. Then used the same procedure as  previous post of Experiment #1.

I used the Misti Stamping Tool to stamp the purple cardstock with straight bleach 3 times. (I just used a paintbrush to cover the stamp image). You can see the bleached paper on the right.  I thoroughly dried and then placed in same position in the Misti again. (the px on right was taken just after I had stamped the tulips over the bleached area)  I used Tim Holtz Distress Markers: Mowed Lawn, Peeled

Paint, Forrest Moss, Spun Sugar, Pickled Raspberry, Seedless Preserves. I brushed the colors on the stamp from Penny Black stamp called First Waltz.   I stamped and dried several times to achieve the final result.

The butterfly is from Cheery Lynn Designs called Exotic Butterfly smal #2 (DL 113) & was cut from another Brusho colored watercolor paper.  The sentiment was cut with Tim Holtz Alterations Die set called Celebrate by Sizzix.

    This is so gorgeous too!

  2. How clever to do the bleaching this way. Isn’t the MISTI a wonderful tool? There are so many great things you can do with it, including this one. Another great take on the challenge, thanks for joining us again this week at Mod Squad.
