Today’s Experiment #3 starts with a Linen Textured Cardstock from The Paper Company/Crafts and Creativity (I can’t remember where I got it and am finding it hard to find on the web.)

I used the Misti Stamping Tool to stamp the green cardstock with straight bleach 3 times. (I just used a paintbrush to cover the stamp image). You can see the bleached paper on the right.  I thoroughly dried and then placed in same position in the Misti again.  I used Tim Holtz Distress Markers: Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint,

Forrest Moss,  Spiced Marmelade, Pickled Persimon

& Barn Door Red.  I brushed the colors on the stamp from Penny Black stamp called First Waltz then spritzed with water and stamped.   Unlike Experiment #2, I only spritzed  and stamped ONE TIME!  You notice how much color is still on the stamp on left…….there will be an upcoming post with samples of Second and Third Generation Stamping on other cardstock … so STAY TUNED!  Last I stamped the sentiment from Our Daily Bread called Scripture Collection 1.

Beautiful card design with the bleaching and then coloring.

  2. And yet another beauty. Isn’t it fun to see what the color will come out like with the bleach. Appreciate sharing all your talent with us this week over at Mod Squad!!!
