(2016 c31)Ellen Hutson and Winnie & Walter Day 5
For today’s background I am using a freebie from Winnie & Walter, LLC, at www.winniewalter.com. It is from The Gossip Column: The Geometric Generation Digital Elements, called Diamond Dizzy.
After printing several of the designs I took them to a print shop and had them printed with a Lazer printer on my 110 lb. Card stock from Walmart. Then I put it through my heat laminator with gold foil. (It is hard to tell, but the black lines in the photo are foiled gold.) See detail shot on the right. Then I heat embossed the sentiment from Mondo Hydrangea from Essentials by Ellen with black EP on Peach colored Vellum.
The Butterflies are Flying Beauties from Spellbinders. I scanned the actual dies and printed a page of various dies and did the same procedure as above. Then I die cut the foiled butterflies out and inked the inside with Distress Inks by Tim Holtz called Abandoned Coral and Candied Apple (for shading on the small ones).
