(2016 c2) Colorburst BG, Heart Shaker Card

I have fallen in love with Ken Oliver Color Burst (Watercolor Pigment Powder) Today’s background was made with Merlot and the blue background of the heart used Ultramarine Blue and a tiny bit of Merlot.  I start by heavily spritzing  watercolor paper with a fine water mist, next I sprinkle the Pigment Powder on the wet paper and watch the maggic happen.  If there isn’t enough movement in the colors I spritz again with water.

I cut the heart with the frame portion of the Spellbinders Die D-Lites called Vines of Passion.   The shaker was made using a cellophane bag and adding sequins and clear beads by Darise Glass Beads and Sequins from Joann Craft Store. The 3 little heart beads inside the bag were secured on the back of the bead to the bag with score tape in order to keep enough height in the flexible bag to allow the small beads and sequins to shake. (The hearts are much thicker than the little beads)
