(2015 c46) Faux Metal Embossed Paper Get Well Card

For today’s card I used the technique found at Jennifer McGuire demonstrated a method called Faux Textured Metal Paper

I used the Stripe Background embossing folder found at Classy Cards N Such to emboss the striped background after using Tim Holtz Spiced Marmelade to color the background and then applied Perfect Pearls (Perfect Gold).  I used the same technique for the top embossed piece that was colored with Tim Hlltz Distress Inks:  Cracked Pistaschio, Abandoned Coral, Shaded Lilac and Fossilized Amber, Then went over with Bronze Perfect Pearls powder to achieve the metal look. Next I embossed with Retro Circles by Sizzix.
