(2015 c19) Tim Holtz Wings Valentine Tag

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAFor todays Valentine tag I used Tim Holtz alcohol inks to color the glossy cardstock background and then cut and embossed the heart with Spellbinders die.  I swiped Versamark Ink over the raised portions and heat embossed with gold EP.  Then colored the debossed swirls on the heart with watercolor.  I cut the felt heart with a die, but it only left an indent, so I cut it out with scissors and then colored with alcohol ink. Then I stitched the M with gold thread & surrounded it with Brads from Michael’s brand Recollections.  They were white & I colored them with the gold metalic Alcohol Ink.  I placed more of the gold thread behind the heart when I glued it down and finally I highlighted the wings from Tim Holtz with gold alcohol ink by using a brush & lightly brushing over the wings. They were glued down with E6000.
