(2015 c3) 2015 January Tag 2

THoltzjanuarytagIt’s another Tag for #12tagsof2015

OK, so this TAG is much lighter with the stainingTHoltz Distress Marker Spritzer and I “SPRITZED” the gold paint pen with a lighter touch with Tim Holtz Spritzer as seen on the right:

Another neat thing about stamping on tissue paper is that you can reverse the image when applying to the card, as you can see on this card verses the previous post.

Before starting, I stamped on the tissue paper with Ellie Girl  by Unity Stamp Co. I then glued it face down onto the tag & scrunched the tissue to get ridges in the surface all around the sides, leaving the image smooth. I applied distress paints sparingly around the tag & spritzed with water & let the colors run down the tissue ridges.  Then when dried I pounced the distress stains on my craft mat and dabbed the tag into the stain pools.   I used Tim Holtz products:  Distress Paints – Pickled Raspberry, Chipped Saphire, Victorian  Velvet;    Distress Stains – Stormy Sky, Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass, Tarnished Brass

Finally I spritzed with the gold Calligraphy Opaque Paint Marker by Marvy Uchida using a much lighter spray than on the tag on the previous post.
