(2014 c51) Unity Stamps, O is for Orange, Fall Feathers
Unity Stamps used: For Background – Stitched Daffodils, Tattered Chicken Wire I Stamped with Versamark & heat embossed with clear EP on white mixed media paper and then sponged over the entire piece with Spiced Marmelade Distress Ink by Ranger. For second layer I stamped the feathers from Imagine, Dream, Fly and the sentiment from Basically Said onto tissue paper with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Carnelian, Clear Bark, Espresso and Gold embossing powders. Look at the photo on the left to see how I kept the flimsy, lightweight tissue paper from flying around while applying the heat. The little alligator clip held it nicely to a scrap of cardboard & kept my fingers cool! (another tip you can see in that px is that I put my heat gun in a stand designed to hold a hairdryer so you can use it hands free.) I then used Matte Medium to adhere to the background and it’s neat how the pattern shows through the feathers since theunstamped parts of the tissue “disapears” when applied with the matte medium.
