(2014 c49) Unity “Imagine” Fall, Multi-media

For today’s card I stamped with Unity Stamp Co. called “Inspire” Words. and Feather Flight:OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAToday’s multi media card started with white cardstock and I spritzed with water then with “Peeled Paint” Tim Holtz Distress re-inker by Ranger. I cut out multiple leaves from tissue paper with the Provocraft leaf dies and laid them on the wet background and sprayed again which left a lighter leaf shape.  This technique can be seen in a great video by Shari at Simon Says Stamp this week.   After drying I sponged “Mustard Seed” and “Peeled Paint” distress ink in any remaining white areas. Next I sponged around the tiny leaves (across the top and bottom of the card) of the mask with Peeled Paint. Then along the sides I sponged “Mustard Seed” around the smaller mask that is seen on top of the Mustard Seed ink (in the px on the right). OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Next I stamped the feathers randomly using “Wild Honey” Distress Paint dauber, then dry randomly stamped feathers with “Scattered Straw” Distress Crackle Paint and let it dry and then sponged over the crackle feathers with “Rusty Hinge” Distress Ink. The brighter light feathery feathers that you can see through were stamped with Tarnished Brass Distress Stain.
Finally I took the tissue leaves and added more ink to some and used Claudine Hellmuth matte Multi Medium to adhere.
