(2014 c23) Sizzix Hero Arts & Technique Tuesday

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAToday I made a journal cover using water color paper which I had painted on with acrylic paints and water colors.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I stamped Life is a Journey from Technique Tuesday on the path.  I stamped the bicycle with Bicycle by Sizzix Hero Arts.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA And then cut it out with the die.   I then cut out 2 bicycles with cardstock and glued them together & placed inside the cutout to give some height to the stamped bicycle when it was glued on top.

I decopaged the background to the journal cover and then decopaged the bicycle journey OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERApiece on top.

For the road signs I stamped on my left over background paper and cut out JOURNEY (from Life is a Journey from Technique Tuesday) with 2 arrow dies in the Bicycle by Sizzix Hero Arts set, to indicate the CHOICES  in our JOURNEY.   I cut out the lamp post with Hardware Findings by Tim Holtz Alterations by Sizzix.

Great journal cover, I like your restricted colour palette, purple and yellow are so effective together. Thanks for joining us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
