(2013 c97) MFP stampsets “Wise Men” & “Winter Scenes”

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThis card uses two stampsets from Mark’s Finest Papers called Winter Scenes for the background trees and Wise Men for the sentiment and star.   I then tore paper for a mask and inked the snow hills on the background with white ink.

I found a fantastic source for this glittery paper at the dollar store!  It was originally a gift bag!  The great thing about this paper is that it is lightweight yet sturdy and the glitter doesn’t flake off since it has a rubbery backing.  That however makes it a little hard to remove any tiny pieces, I first cut with a layer of waxed paper between my Spellbinders dies  (Lattice Accents for the scallop and Lattice Motifs for the frame and the gift bag paper.  Then I had to punch out the small bits with a stylus. But I think it was totally worth it!
