MFPTT Ch #76 Make your own Chipboard, Tutorial by Davi Reid

This week on Mark’s Finest Papers SpeedyTV the Tutorial Time Challenge #76 is called Make your own Chipboard & is brought to us by Davi Reid. Here is my sample:OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAWhat a great money saver!  Making your own chipboard using the dies you have on hand!  I used packing boxes that had a slightly glossy side.  This kind works great with alcohol inks since it is slick.  I cut out the frame with Sizzix Hanging Frame with Scallops and the butterfly with Spellbinders Wings of Hope dies.  For the Butterfly I stamped the butterfly on top of the chipboard butterfly with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with black EP.  Then I applied alcohol inks from Ranger (Lemonade for the center of stamped butterfly) (Copper Mixatives for the outside portion of the butterfly chipboard) For the chipboard frame I used Denim, Sail Boat Blue and Silver Mixatives alcolho inks by Ranger.
When I mounted my Butterfly on the black CS I colored inside the holes onto the black paper with the Clear Stardust GellyRoll Pen by SAKURA.  See how it looks gold against the black paper and on the Tag (cut with Fanciful Labels by Cuttlebug)  it looks silver against the blue.

Oh yes and the butterfly and sentiment stamp I used is a SNEEK PEAK from a new set coming out in December at Mark’s Finest Papers so be sure & watch the MFP BLOG to see the new releases SOON!

TT ch 76 Lily of the ValleyNow it is your turn go on over to MFP SpeedyTV and enter by the deadline and you will be entered in the random drawing for the mini stampset seen on the left.  So go on have fun with this!
