(2013 c80) Canvas Background
For my card today I inked white canvas with these Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Wild Honey, Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed and Scattered Straw. I then frayed the edges and ironed heavy duty Pellon onto the back of the canvas and then ironed the canvas onto my cardbase. (Be sure to place a piece of plain white typing paper on top of canvas so that you don’t get ink on your iron!)
I had to try out my new Sizzix Thinlits called Frame, Iron Gate. Be sure & use either waxed paper or parchment paper between your paper & die when cutting out so you can get the paper to release from die without tearing since it is such a delicate & intricate die! I mounted the blue Iron Gate frame onto my canvas by spraying the back with spray adhesive. I stamped the sentiment from Our Daily Bread called On Eagle’s Wings. And added just a touch of bling in the corners.
