(2013 c#31) GKD Hope Grows & Friendships Garden

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAToday’s card uses stamps from Gina K Designs:  The flowers are from Friendship’s Garden bu Asela Hopkins and the Butterfly and sentiment are from  Hope Grows by Theresa Momber.  I stamped the flowers on white CS and heat embossed with black EP, then painted with LuminArte Powdered pigments
that were mixed with gum arabic for painting.  I cut out my heavy acrylic (that was salvaged from packaging material) with Labels 2 from Spellbinders. I then stamped the butterfly with Stazon ink on the outside of the acrylic and colored it on the back with Copics markers.  The edge was highlighted on the back with Alcohol Inks by Tim Holtz/Ranger.   This acrylic was applied with silver square brads with green rhinestones attached to top. The emerald green strip on the right was scored 4 times down the length on the right.  The doily was made by cutting out with Circle Scallops by Spellbinders and embossing with embossing folder from Sizzix set called  Ornate Flowers & Frame.  The sentiment was placed on a piece that was embossed with embossing folder from Cuttlebug called Scrollwork.  Both embossed pieced were sanded to reveal the blue core.
