(2012 c57) MFP Tutorial Time Ch #20 Embossing a Pop Can

This week on Mark’s Finest Papers SpeedyTV Tammylee  is bringing our Tutorial for Embossing Pop Cans.

I had a little trouble photographing the black embossing, in real life it is all very black & shinny.

I was skeptical about cutting the can, but the aluminum is very lightweight & easy to cut with scissors or use your die cutting machine.  I used MFP’s Be Wild & Free stampset.  I stamped with Versamark Ink & heat embossed with black EP.  Then I daubed Tim Holtz Alcohol inks on the metal to make the grass & sunset background.  I used Lifestyles Cutting Dies Nesting Frames 1 to cut my frame to cover the edges of the pop can scene.

Be sure to give this fun technique a try…so go on over to Tutorial Time on SpeedyTV and follow Tammylee’s tutorial this week & enter your project to have a chance to win this stamp set:
